Realme 12 Pro series is confirmed to debut in India this month. The brand has started teasing the upcoming smartphone series revealing small details through a dedicated microsite. The launch date is yet to be revealed but we’re expecting it to be announced anytime soon. Now ahead of the launch, the Realme 12 Pro series has received China’s 3C certification.
Realme 12 Pro spotted on 3C certification site
- Realme 12 Pro series was spottedon the 3C certification website with the model number RMX3866.
- The 3C listing doesn’t confirm much other than the fact that the Realme 12 Pro series will come with 67W fast charging support.
- It also mentions two adapters namely VCB7CACH and VCB70ACH.
- Realme has also been keeping details under wraps by only revealing the phone’s back design, and confirming a periscope camera. The Realme 12 Pro is seen in a blue colour with a vegan leather finish and golden outlines. The camera module is a circular one with what looks like 120x zoom engraved on it.
- Realme 12 Pro series is also confirmed to feature a periscope telephoto lens that is compared with a 200MP sensor, and how it doesn’t need to rely on such a high megapixel count. As for the rest of its specs, a recent TENAA listing gives us an idea on what to expect.
Realme 12 Pro series specs (expected)
- Display: Realme 12 Pro is said to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 2412×1080 pixel resolution.
- Processor:An unspecified octa-core chipset with 2.2GHz and 2.4GHz has been listed for the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+, respectively. Rumours suggest it’s going to be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 for the Realme 12 Pro+.
- RAM and storage:Both phones are expected to launch in four variants of 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB.
- Cameras:Realme 12 Pro has been listed with a 50MP primary camera, a 32MP secondary lens, and an 8MP sensor. For selfies, it will house a 16MP front camera. As for the Realme 12 Pro+, it will be a 64MP primary camera, a 50MP secondary lens, an 8MP camera, and a 32MP front camera.
- Battery:Both phones are listed with the same 4,880mAh battery.

Separately, Realme has also partnered with Ollivier Saveo, an international luxury watch design master for a Rolex-inspired edition of the Realme 12 Pro series.
Realme 12 Pro series cameras
- Realme has officially confirmed the Realme 12 Pro will feature a periscope telephoto sensor.
- The Realme 12 Pro series is confirmed to feature the largest OV64B periscope telephoto sensor with a 1/2-inch size.
- The Realme 12 Pro series will feature a 3X Portrait Mode with a 71mm golden portrait focal length, which is claimed to create a naturally shallow depth of field ideal for portraits.

Realme 12 Pro partnership with Rolex
Separately, a poster of the Realme 12 Pro+ Rolex-inspired edition has surfaced online. The leaked teaser image has a Rolex watch, which shows the date as the 28th, which could be when the phones might finally launch.
The custom design, as per the alleged poster, will feature a dust-resistant leather back panel with Blue and Gold accents. Realme is calling this colour Submarine Blue and features a large circular module on the back panel to house the camera sensor and an LED flash. Realme has partnered with Ollivier Saveo, the international luxury watch design master, to create an Rolex-inspired luxury watch design for the Realme 12 Pro Series 5G. Ollivier Saveo, renowned for his leadership in high-end watch and jewellery groups, has previously collaborated with prestigious Swiss watch brands, including Rolex, Roger Dubuis, Piaget, Breitling, and Quentin.
The company says the phone is crafted using CNC machine cutting, and the Golden Fluted Bezel achieves a 360-degree luxury watch-level precision texture with 300 meticulously designed metal lines.
