The Lava Yuva 3 Pro India launch date has been officially revealed via a post on X. The handset will succeed the Yuva 2 Pro, which debuted in the country earlier this year. The new Yuva phone will be launched in the country on December 14th. Separately, a tipster has shared the specs of the phone along with the expected price.

  • The teaser video posted on X by the company shows a glimpse of the design. The handset can be seen in a Gold colour option, with dual circular rings to house the camera sensors.
  • The company is calling the phone “The Gold Standard.”
  • The Lava Yuva 3 Pro appears to have a boxier chassis with rounded edges.
  • We can see the volume rocker and power button (which probably also doubles up as a fingerprint sensor) are on the right edge.
  • The rear panel has a large rectangular module and this houses two circular rings to accommodate dual camera sensors and an LED flash.
  • There is also Lava branding on the back panel.
  • The speaker grille and a USB Type-C port are at the bottom

While the specifications of the phone are not revealed by the company, tipster Paras Guglani in a post on Twitter has revealed the alleged specs sheet of the phone. He claims the Lava Yuva 3 Pro will be priced under Rs 11,000 in India.

  • Display: 6.5-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
  • Processor: Unisoc T616 SoC.
  • RAM/storage: 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. There’s 8GB virtual RAM support as well.
  • Camera: 50MP primary camera sensor. There is an 8MP front camera sensor.
  • OS: Android 13 OS.
  • Battery: 5,000mAh battery, 18W fast charging support.
  • Security: There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Lava, the homegrown smartphone brand, came back into the limelight with the launch of Lava Agni 2 5G. The device has received fairly good reviews, especially for the stock Android interface and value-for-money hardware. The company is working on the Lava Agni 2S. Now, tipster Yogesh Brar claims the Lava Agni  will launch in India before the end of this year. If true, we can expect an official announcement very soon.
