After various beta updates in the last couple of months, the OnePlus 10 Pro is finally getting OxygenOS 14 based on the Android 14 update. The update is currently rolling out to Open Beta users in India and is yet to be available everywhere but since it has started rolling out, we expect it to be made available in other markets shortly. The update regarding the rolling has been confirmed by a OnePlus 10 Pro owner via the community forum.

  • According to the Community post, customers upgrading from an Open Beta build will have to download around 800MB size firmware update.
  • For those who are still on OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13, the file size will be on the higher size (probably based on region).
  •  The official changelog mentions the update brings some notable features and improvements.
  • There is a new Fluid Cloud, which is a new way of interacting with morphing forms that allows users to view up-to-date information at a glance).
  • File Dock function allows users to drag and drop to transfer content between apps and devices.
  • There is Content Extraction, which is a new feature that recognises and extracts text and images from the screen with one tap.
  • The Smart Cutout feature can separate multiple subjects in a photo from the background for copying or sharing.

OxygenOS 14 integrates with Microsoft Windows PCs through Microsoft Phone Link. The update brings significant performance optimisation, an upgraded Aquamorphic Design, Pantanal Service for interactive Fluid Cloud, and more. The update allows users to check the connection status of devices on your account at a glance. The OxygenOS 14 update improves photo and video-related permission management for secure access by apps.

  • OnePlus 10 Pro was founded by Pete Lau and Carl Pei on December 16th, 2013. The Chinese phone maker has seen momentous growth and several changes in its corporate structure in the years since. So, on December 4th, it will commemorate a decade in the industry. The announcement poster for the same shared on Weibo shows the event timing to be 7:00 pm local time (or 4:30 pm IST).

  • Display:On the front, you could get a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with 2K PRoXDR resolution, the BOE single-pixel calibrating feature, an OPPO P1 display chip, and a punch-hole cutout. It has been rated an A+ grade on the DisplayMate benchmark.
  • Processor:Under the hood, the OnePlus 12 could have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with Adreno GPU.
  • Memory:This could be backed by up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
  • Battery:The device could be relying on a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging and a 50W wireless charging facility.
  • Software:On top of this hardware, Android 14-based OxygenOS could be present.
  • Cameras:On the rear side, the primary camera could be a 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor with OIS. It could be accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide Sony IMX581 sensor and a 64MP 3x telephoto zoom lens with OIS
