Realme Note 50 listing in Philippines reveals price and specifications ahead of launch

Now, Realme Philippines has revealed the Realme Note 50 price and specifications ahead of the scheduled launch on January 23rd.

  • Realme Note 50 will be available in Midnight Blue and Sky Blue colours. The handset will be sold in a single 4GB + 64GB model and listed at PHP 3,599 (approx Rs 5,400). The availability details are not completely revealed at the moment. We should know the details when the phone is announced on January 23rd.
  • Realme VP, Chase recently announced the phone will be sold in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Italy, Bangladesh and Myanmar.

Realme Note 50 specifications

  • Display: Realme Note 50 sports a 6.74-inch IPS HD+ display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 560 nits peak brightness.
  • There is a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie shooter.
  • Processor: The handset is powered by the UNISOC T612 SoC based on Mali G57 MP1 GPU for graphics. The processor has two Cortex A75 cores at 1.8GHz and six Cortex A55 cores at 1.8GHz.
  • RAM/Storage: The phone packs 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is further expandable via a microSD.
  • OS: The handset runs on Android 13-based realme UI T Edition.
  • Cameras: The Realme Note 50 features a 13MP primary camera and a B&W depth sensor. There is an LED flash. We have a 5MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
  • Connectivity: Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
  • The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
  • Battery: The phone could house a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
  • Chinese Tipster “Smart Pikachu” posted (via) on Chinese social media, Weibo, stating that the Redmi Note 14 will closely rival the Realme 12 series with a similar price range and specifications. Both the series will feature a curved display and focus on camera performance.

Based on our previous report, the Realme 12 Pro and Pro+ have already been certified through BIS for an India launch and are expected to feature the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Other features include a telephoto lens for both devices. The Redmi Note 14 Pro series could similarly work on providing better optical zoom cameras. In India, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will bring a curved display to the Redmi Note series for the first time and continue with the same 200MP main sensor from last year’s model. The Redmi Note 13 series is launching in India on January 4th while the Realme 12 Pro series could be unveiled sometime in Q1 of 2024.

Redmi Note 13 series is set to launch in India on January 4th and rumours are rife that only 5G variants will be launching in the country. However, the company is also reportedly working on Redmi Note 13 and Note 13 Pro 4G versions as they have appeared on multiple certifications, including FCC, NBTC and others. Now, tipster Sudhansu Ambhore shared the renders and prices of the Redmi Note 13 and Note 13 Pro 4G variants for the European market. In a separate report from Appuals, the tipster shared the specifications.

Redmi Note 13 and Note 13 Pro 4G design

  • The Redmi Note 13 and Note 13 Pro 4G share an almost similar design.
  • The renders shared by Parasshow some key specs of the vanilla Redmi Note 13 4G.
  • There is a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter and flat edges. The Note 13 Pro 4G features slightly narrow bezels compared to the Note 13 4G.
  • The volume rocker and power buttons are on the right edge.
  • Both phones feature a boxy chassis with rounded edges.
  • Flipping the phone to the back, you see triple camera sensors placed individually and an LED flash. We also see Redmi branding.
  • The has 108MP text engraved on the back panel, while the Pro version has a 200MP sensor.
  • The  has a dual-tone design around the top portion. The SIM tray section is on the left edge of the phone.
  • The bottom section has a USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, and a primary microphone.
  • The top section has a 3.5mm, an IR blaster, a speaker grille and another microphone.
