[Exclusive] POCO C65 image shows Purple colour option, complete rear design; India launch imminent

POCO C65 debuted globally early last month as a new budget 4G offering. The phone is set to land in India as well and is rumoured to be a rebrand of the Redmi 13C, which is slated to debut in the country tomorrow. Now, 91mobiles exclusively brings you an image of the POCO C65 Indian variant courtesy of industry sources and this shows the rear design in full glory. The image appears to be from the marketing material and this suggests the India launch might be around the corner.

  • We see two large circular modules to house two camera sensors. These are placed flat on the back panel and there is an LED flash as well. We also see POCO branding on the back panel.
  • The POCO C65 has a boxy chassis, with rounded edges.
  • Sources say the Indian variant could also be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.
  • The handset can be seen in Purple colour but there could be other options at launch.

  • Cameras:The  features two camera sensors on the back, with a 50MP main rear camera and a 2MP macro lens. There is an 8MP front camera for selfies.
  • OS:The phone runs on MIUI 14 out of the box.
  • Battery:The  packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
  • Connectivity:Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.

  • POCO has announced the launch date for its next C-series phone, the POCO C65. The announcement comes shortly after the smartphone was spotted on multiple certification sitessuggesting a global launch. In addition to the launch announcement, it also revealed the POCO C65’s key specs and pricing details.

  • POCO C65 launch is scheduled to take place on November 5th. It will be an online launch with no confirmation on whether an event will take place or not. The announcement was made by POCO’s global account on X, and the price revealed is for the US market. There’s no word yet on when the C65 will arrive in India.

POCO C65 price, key specs revealed

POCO C65 starts at $109 (Rs 9,100 approx) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and this variant is priced at $129 (Rs 10,800 approx). This is the early bird pricing for the  C65. The smartphone will be available in three colour options of Blue, Green and Black.

In terms of specs, the C65 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G65 processor. It also comes with a 50MP triple camera setup at the back. Rest of the specs will be revealed on November 5th when the phone goes official.

POCO is yet to reveal which global markets the C65 will launch in as the phone has been spotted on multiple certification sites. These include the UAE’s TDRA certification website, Singapore’s IMDA website, and the FCC. The  C65 is also rumoured to feature a USB Type-C port, and run MIUI 14 based on Android 13. The phone is expected to come with NFCas well based on the IMDA listing.

There’s speculation that the  will be a rebranded Redmi 13C that’s slated to debut soon. Xiaomi usually follows this strategy for its Redmi and POCO phones
