The Redmi K70 series is set to debut in China very soon, although we are yet to hear the exact launch date. There could be three models in the series, including the Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro, and Redmi K70e. After the renders of the vanilla model surfaced online, the handset appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The listing confirms the model number 2311DRK48C and some key hardware details.

- The motherboard has a peak clock speed of 3.35GHz and the chipset could be the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC. This is surprising considering earlier rumours suggested the phone would come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8300 is yet to be announced. As per a recent leak from tipster WHY LAB, the chipset is expected to debut within the next two weeks. The Redmi K70 is expected to be rebranded as POCO F6 globally and in India. A POCO device recently received the BIS certification with the model number 2311DRK481. Redmi K70 series launch timeline details
- Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing’s reply to a user on Weiboconfirmed that the K70 series is planned for a November launch.
- Separately, Weibing suggestedthat those interested in a reasonably priced flagship phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC should wait for this phone.

- Additionally, Redmi’s Marketing General Manager, Wang Teng Thomas, provided information about the phone series on Weibo.
