Redmi Note 13 series Android update details

• The smartphones are expected to receive three years of Android OS updates, extending up to Android 16, and four years of security patches.

Redmi Note 13 series specifications

As the Redmi Note 13 series models are already live in China, here’s a quick look at the specs and price of these smartphones.

• Display:The Redmi Note 13 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED 120Hz display. On the other hand, the Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+ have a 6.67-inch 1.5K FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display.
• Chipset:The vanilla model features a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC. Meanwhile, the Pro variant is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and the Pro+ is powered by the Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC.
• Rear cameras:The Note 13 sports a dual rear camera setup, consisting of 100MP + 2MP cameras. The Pro and Pro+ have 200MP + 8MP + 2MP cameras.

In terms of price, the Redmi Note 13 was launched at CNY 1,199 (approx Rs 13,900), with the Pro model starting at CNY 1,499 (around Rs 17,400), and the base model of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ beginning at CNY 1,999 (approx Rs 22,800). It’s important to note that these figures are conversion rates, but expectations are that the Redmi Note 13 series will maintain a similar pricing structure when launched in India.

On the other hand, a recent leak suggested that the Redmi Note 13 Pro with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is expected to have a box price of Rs 32,999. It’s noteworthy that the actual cost of the phone may differ from the box price, as retail prices often vary from the initially listed figures. Also, these phones will be available on Flipkart and Amazon.
