• Samsung’s Galaxy S24series is no secret now with the phones showing up almost everywhere. Now, the last remaining bit of information has leaked, which is the launch date. We now have what’s supposed to be the official date for the Galaxy Unpacked event set to take place next month. Official press materials with specs of the Galaxy S24 phones have leaked as well.

·        Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event date leaked 

• The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 date has been scheduled for January 18th, according to Evan Blass. The same was postedon X but it was taken down, and isn’t available anymore. But screenshots of the post were captured by multiple publications.

The Galaxy Unpacked event will start at 3am KST, which would be 11:30 pm for viewers in India. Samsung has also teased ‘Galaxy AI’, its version of ChatGPT and Google Bard. Samsung Galaxy S24 specs leaked

Blass also shared press materials detailing specs of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra.

• Display:The Galaxy S24 will feature a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED FHD+ 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits peak brightness. The Galaxy S24+ gets a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, while the S24 Ultra gets the biggest 6.8-inch display.
• Processor:All three phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 depending on the region. The Indian variants will most likely get the Exynos chipset.
• RAM and storage:The Galaxy S24 will come in two variants with 8GB RAM + 128GB and 256GB of storage. The Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra will pack 12GB of RAM + 256GB and 512GB of storage.
• Cameras:The Galaxy S24 and S24+ feature two 50MP cameras with a 3x telephoto sensor. Both phones will be able to record up to 8K videos. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will sport a 200MP primary camera with 3x and 10x telephoto sensors.
• Battery, charging:All three phones differ when it comes to battery capacity. The Galaxy S24 will pack a 4,000mAh battery, the S24+ gets a 4,900mAh battery, while the S24 Ultra will come with a 5,000mAh battery.
• Colours:All three phones will come in four colour options of Onyx Black, Cobalt Violet, Marble Gray, and Amber Yellow. The Galaxy S24 and S24+ will come in Armor Aluminum 2.0 casings, and the Ultra model in a new Titanium frame.

• Tipster Evan Blass has shared a small teaser clip and this confirms the ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event will be held on January 18th, 2024 at 3:00 AM KST (Jan 17th, 11.30 PM IST).

• The tipster also shared a screenshot which has the list of phones which are tested and approved for the AT&T network. The list includes the Galaxy S24 series.
• The teaser also highlights ‘Galaxy AI’. This is in line with recent leaks which suggested the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be powered by in-house AI.
• Interestingly, the teaser has an animated icon resembling Google’s Bard AI logo on the right edge, which suggests a possible collaboration of Samsung with Google for the integration of AI technology.
• While introducing Bard and outlining the Android integration options, Google announced that Assistant with Bard would be pre-installed on Android devices and will be available as a Play Store app.
• The Samsung Galaxy S24 renders shared by Android Headlines show the phone will be available in Amber Yellow, Cobalt Violet, Marble Grey, and Onyx Black colour options.
• The design appears to be almost similar to the Galaxy S23.
• There is a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout, flat edges, and narrow bezels around the screen.
• TheSamsung Galaxy S24 series  volume rocker and power buttons are on the right edge.
• The Samsung Galaxy S24 series chassis of the phone doesn’t seem to be made of titanium but will retain the aluminium frame.
• The Galaxy S24 also seems to have a colour-matched frame, which is an interesting design change.
• The retains the same camera design, with triple cameras stacked individually without any borders. We also see the Samsung logo on the back.

• Samsung Galaxy S24 series leaks can’t take a break, it seems. Well, it’s good for us as we get to see the three phones, presumably called Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra from different angles. We get to see their flat displays and squared-off edges, and also learn about their supposed AI capabilities. We previously heard the upcoming Galaxy flagships could get built-in generative AIfeatures but not exactly what they are. Well, now, we get a hint of what to expect.
