- As per a reportby PTI, Tecno Mobile India CEO Arijeet Talapatra said that Tecno aims to secure a position among the top five smartphone brands in the Indian market by the year 2024.
- The CEO announced intentions to launch 24 new smartphone models in 2024. Also, half of these models are anticipated to support 5G technology.
- As per the report, Tecno observed a rise in the average selling price of its phones from Rs 11,000-12,000 in January 2023 to Rs 18,000-19,000 by December 2023.

Tecno smartphones
Tecno recently launched two new smartphones Tecno Spark Go 2024 and Tecno Phantom V Flip in India. Launched at a starting price of Rs 6,699, the Tecno Spark Go 2024 is an entry-level smartphone that features a 6.56-inch HD+ Dot-in display that boasts a standard 90Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 13MP primary camera and a secondary AI lens. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 10W charging technology. On the other hand, the Tecno Phantom V Flip is a premium flip-style phone featuring a 6.9-inch FHD+ Flexible AMOLED Display with minimal bezels. It incorporates a 1.32-inch Circular AMOLED sub-display.
The phone boasts a 64MP RGBW primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the rear, along with a 32MP front shooter. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 Processor paired with a Mali-G77 GPU and houses a 4,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

- As per sources, the Spark Go 2024 will be the segment’s first phone to feature DTS dual stereo speakers. This should enhance the audio-listening experience.
- The Spark Go 2024 will also be the segment first to come with a 90Hz Dot-in (probably punch-hole) display with a dynamic port. This is something similar to Dynamic Island on iPhones.

As for the design, we have a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter and noticeable bezels. The phone has a boxy chassis with rounded edges for better grip on hands. The volume rocker and power button are present on the right and there is a SIM card tray on the left edge. Moving to the back, you see a square module to house dual camera sensors and an LED flash.
