Fresh from the launch of the Vivo X100 series, the company appears to be working on more phones and this time in the mid-range segment. These include the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro and these will succeed the Vivo S17 lineup. Now, the key specifications of the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro have leaked online, courtesy of tipster WhyLab on Weibo.

 

Vivo S18, S18 Pro specifications (rumoured)

  • The Vivo S18 and S18 Pro specifications have leakedfrom what appears to be a presentation slide.
  • This reveals the Vivo S18 will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The other phone that is powered by the chipset is the Honor 100.
  • The chipset could be paired be 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage.
  • The handset could feature an OLED display with 2,800nits peak brightness and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter.
  • The Vivo S18 could feature a 5,000mAh battery
  • On the other hand, the Vivo S18 Pro will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, which is a proper flagship chipset. The other hardware specifications are similar to the standard Vivo S18, including an OLED display, a 5,000mAh battery, and the same storage and RAM options. Previous rumours suggested the phones would come with 80W fast charging support.
  • The leaked image shows the Vivo S18 Pro will come with a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor, similar to the Vivo X100. There will be Wi-Fi 7 support as well. Rumours have it that the Vivo S18 series will debut globally as Vivo V30 and Vivo S18 Pro as Vivo V30 Pro. At the moment, there’s no word on the launch date or the price details but we should learn more details about the phone going forward.

The Vivo V29 series was unveiled last month in the Indian market. The lineup included the Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro. These come with a premium design and top-end hardware. Now, it appears that the brand is working on the Vivo V30 series. These could debut only next year considering the Vivo V29 is just a month old. The Vivo V30 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.

  • The Vivo bears the model number V2318, as per the listing spotted by MySmartPrice.
  • This is the same model number that was spotted on the IMEI databaseand this confirmed the Vivo V30 moniker.
  • The benchmarking platform reveals the phone has managed to score 4,167 points in the Vulkan test.
  • The Geekbench listing reveals an octa-core processor with 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration, with a peak clock speed of 2.63GHz. The listing also shows Adreno 720 GPU.
  • The Adreno 720 GPU suggests the Vivo V30 might come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, which is yet to be announced.
  • The phone will run on Android 14 OS and 12GB RAM but there could be other options at launch.

There are chances the Vivo V30 might be rebranded as Vivo S18 in China. Besides the chipset, RAM, and OS, the Geekbench listing doesn’t reveal any specifications of the phone. The Vivo V30 Pro bears the model number V2319. Here’s a quick recall of the Vivo V29 specifications.
