After launching the Vivo V29 series in India a few months ago, the company appears to have started working on announcing the Vivo V30 lineup shortly. There are speculations that the Vivo S18 lineup which launched in China will be rebranded as the Vivo V30 lineup for global markets. Now, while we wait for the announcement, the Vivo V30 series poster has leaked online and this briefly highlights the design.

Vivo V30 series leaked poster reveals design

  • The leakedposter image shows the Vivo V30 series will have a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, narrow bezels around the screen, and curved edges.
  • We can also see a significantly thinner chin below the screen.
  • The volume rocker and power buttons are on the right edge.
  • Moving to the back, you can spot the square module to house the camera sensors and probably an LED flash.
  • Vivo V30 Lite is officially announced and the design doesn’t match with the one in the poster.
  • This means we are looking at the actual Vivo V30 series and not the Vivo V30 Lite.
  • The design of the phone matches with the live images revealed via the NCC certification.

Vivo V30: what we know so far

The Vivo V30 has managed to score 4,167 points in the Vulkan test. The listing suggested the phone would come with Android 14 OS and an Adreno 720 GPU. We might be looking at the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. The complete specifications are under wraps at the moment. Here’s a recall to the Vivo S18 specifications.

Now that the brand is done with the Vivo X100 series’ launch in China and global markets, including India, the brand appears to have shifted its focus towards the Vivo V30 lineup. There are speculations that the Vivo V30 will be a rebrand of the Vivo S18 smartphones. While we wait for the announcement, the standard Vivo V30 has received UAE’s TDRA certification.

  • The TDRA certification shows the Vivo phone will bear the model number V2318.
  • The certification confirms the marketing name of the phone as Vivo V30.

The listing also shows the battery capacity and some more details of the phone.

    • The certification shows the Vivo V30 will bear the model number V2318.
    • This confirms the phone will house a 4,895mAh battery but it should be promoted as 5,000mAh. This will be supported by an 80W fast charging speed.
