• Samsung Galaxy A15 5G to feature Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ chipset

• The Samsung Galaxy A15 5Gis the next entrant in Samsung’s Galaxy A meant for 2024 and is certainly expected to come with a more appealing list of specifications. A Geekbench listing, spotted by MySmartPrice, shows the Indian variant of the device with model number “SM-A156E” on the benchmark site with a single-core score of 699 and a multi-core score of 1877.
• The European variant of the device with model number “SM-A156B” was also spotted earlier with similar scores indicating that both regions will get the same Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. The device could also start with a 4GB variant which is certainly unusual unless Samsung is targeting it for the under Rs. 15,000 segment.

• Samsung Galaxy A15 5Gis also planning to launch the Samsung Galaxy A15 4G in select markets and the device has been spottedon FCC. This device is expected to feature a Mediatek Helio G99 chipset alongside 25W charging and an NFC chip. It could launch in the US first.

The phone is clearly a decent upgrade over its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, which made its way to the Indian market with an Exynos 1330 processor instead of the Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset that the European variant received. Other upgrades include an OLED panel instead of an LCD one and 25W fast charging.

South Korean tech giant Samsung is working on an A-series smartphone, the Galaxy A25 5G, that will come as a successor to the Galaxy A24. Though it’s not confirmed, but it looks like the company might unveil the smartphone soon, as it has now appeared on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification website.
