• SBS Biz reportedthat the South Korean conglomerate is looking at January 17th as the date to unveil its next major flagship series, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series dummies. These devices will be unveiled in an in-person event in San Francisco, US. It is expected to be the brand’s first “generative AI” phone

The new date lines up with earlier rumours, with Ice Universe claiming that the device will be unveiled on January 18th a month ago. This is not the first time Samsung Galaxy S24series dummies is launching its S series in January as it unveiled the Galaxy S21 series on January 14th, 2021. The company also had its first in-person event in 3 years in San Francisco for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series in February 2023 and then an event in Seoul for the second Unpacked of this year. Rumours are indicating that the new phones could focus on AI features, camera and design refinements but will largely look the same as their predecessors. A January event also means that the brand wants to go against the iPhone 15 series which will have its Pro models in decent supply by January.
