• Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with the model number SM-S928B/DS has been certified on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. This model number is associated with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and the certification confirms its India launch. It also hints at an imminent launch, which is in line with the rumoured debut timeline for the Galaxy S24 series.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be the top-end model in the series. It was recently confirmed to come with S Pen support according to the Bluetooth SIG website listing. In terms of design, minor changes are expected for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. But there’s one version tipped with a golden middle frame. Based on recent leaks, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.8-inch WQHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could house a 200MP 1/1.3-inch primary camera sensor with 100x zoom support, a 12MP Sony IMX564 ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP Sony IMX754+ telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom.

It will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This time Samsung is rumoured to launch only Snapdragon models for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. We could also see a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Now, the alleged Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra‘s renders have surfaced online, courtesy of tipster Ice Universe. This shows the phone will have the same design compared to the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, albeit with some minor tweaks.

• The flagship features thin and symmetrical bezels with lesser curved edges. There is a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
• The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge.
• The Samsung Galaxy S24  has quad-camera sensors on the back, including telephoto sensors. The lenses are protruding from the flat back. There is also an LED flash.
• The render shows the phone in grey colour but there could be other options at launch.
• Tipster Ice Universe, however, clarifies that these images are the closest rendering of the Galaxy S24.
