The phone was also spotted on Geekbench and this reveals the device will be powered by the Dimensity 6100+ SoC. Now, while we wait for the official launch, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. While it’s not guaranteed, it could be an indication that the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 could be launching in the country.

If it indeed does, it’ll be the first model from Samsung’s line of rugged phones to enter India.

The rugged Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 will ship with thick bezels around the display and a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie shooter. This is the first time we have spotted any reference to this device. So, let’s break down the Geekbench listing to learn everything we know so far about the device.

• From the screenshot shared by MySmartPrice, we learn the SamsungGalaxy M55 5G’s model number is SM-M556B.

• Its single-core performance is 3,575 and the multi-core score is 11,330. The scores may differ on other versions of Geekbench.
• The processor in use is believed to be a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC with the motherboard codenamed Taro. The listing shows the base frequency of this chip is 1.80GHz and the publication adds the max clock speed goes up to 2.40GHz. This is apparently backed by Adreno 644 GPU.
