iQOO 12 to launch with Android 14: first non-Pixel phone in India with the latest Android version

• iQOO announced on X that the  12 will run FuntouchOS 14 based on the latest Android 14 out-of-the-box. This would make  12 the first non-Pixel smartphone to launch with Android 14. This is expected to give the an edge over other Android smartphones in the market.

The brand has so far confirmed key details about the  launching in India.

• The iQOO 12 will come in two colour options of white and black with the BMW branding.

The latest teaser reiterates that the iQOO 12 will be India’s first phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

• The iQOO 12 India launch date is December 12th.
• The teaser image confirms the phone will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
