After unveiling the Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+ in China, the company has released the Redmi Note 13R Pro in the home country. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 108MP dual rear camera setup, MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, and much more.

This phone  launched in China back in May this year and shipping with a 120Hz AMOLED display and Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. Now, the company appears to be working on the successor, dubbed the Redmi Note 13R Pro. 91mobiles has exclusively spotted the Redmi Note 13R Pro on China’s Telecom website which not only confirms the marketing name of the phone but also reveals the design and specifications.

Redmi Note 13R Pro design

• The Redmi Note 13R Pro has a quite premium design and can be seen in gold colour but there could be other options at launch such as midnight black, and time blue colours.
• The handset has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, flat edges and narrow bezels.
• The volume rocker and power buttons are on the right edge. We see the SIM tray section at the left edge.

• The USB Type-C port, single microphone, and speaker vent are at the bottom.
• The back panel of the Redmi Note 13R Pro has a large camera island covering the top section of the back panel. This houses dual-camera sensors and an LED flash. We also see the Redmi logo.
• The back panel has a unique gradient design and this looks quite elegant in the gold colour.
• There is a 3.5mm audio jack, an IR blaster, and a microphone cutout at the top section.
• The chassis of the phone has a boxy design with rounded corners.

• Processor: The chipset details are not revealed at the moment but it could be from house MediaTek.
• RAM and Storage: The phone will be sold in 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version, as per the listing.
• OS: The Redmi phone is likely to boot Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box.
• Cameras: The Redmi 13R Pro is expected to feature a 108MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary lens. There could be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies.
• Battery: The listing showed the phone will house a 5,000mAh battery. The China 3C listing revealed 33W fast charging.
• Dimensions: The Redmi model is likely to measure 161.1 X 74.95 X 7.73 and weigh 174 grams.

Redmi Note 13R Pro price

As per the listing, the Redmi Note 13R Pro price will be RMB 1999, probably for the 12GB + 256GB model. The phone is expected to launch/go on sale from November 20th.

Redmi Note 13 series debuted in China a while ago, and it now appears the brand is working on bringing the phones to India. The devices have started showing up on global certification and Geekbench platforms. The Redmi Note 13 5G has received the NBTC and BIS certifications this week. The latter confirms that the phone will be released in India soon.

Redmi Note 13 5G certification details

• The NBTC certification, as spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma, confirms the marketing name of the phone and that it will come with 5G support.
• The model number mentioned on the platform is 2312DRAABG. The ‘G’ at the end means we are looking at the global model.
• Besides the moniker and model number, the NBTC listing doesn’t reveal any other hardware details.
• The BIS certification just reveals the model number 2312DRAABI and doesn’t mention any other specifications. This certification, however, means the phone is cleared to release in India.
