OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R pricing in US tipped ahead of launch

OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R are set to debut globally and in India on January 23rd. The latter is believed to be a rebrand of the recently launched OnePlus Ace 3, while the OnePlus 12 flagship debuted in China. Now, while we wait for the announcement later this month, the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R price details have been tipped, courtesy of a tech blog ‘TechPlus’.

According to TechPlus, the base OnePlus 1 variant will retail for $799 (approx Rs 66,400) in the USfor the base 12GB + 256GB model and $899 (around Rs 74,700) for the 16GB/512GB.
The OnePlus was priced at $699 for the 8GB and 128GB model.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 12R will start at $499 (around Rs 41,500)for the 8GB RAM and 128GB model and $599 (around Rs 49,800) for the 16GB/256GB variant.

Display:The sports a 6.82-inch QHD+ 2K OLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits of peak brightness.
Battery:There is a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.
Chipset:The flagship OnePlus phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with Adreno GPU.
RAM and Storage: Up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, which may not be further expandable.
Rear camera:The handset features a 50MP Sony LYT-808 OIS main camera, a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP OV64B periscope lens with 3x telephoto zoom lens.
Selfie camera:There is a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.

Displa is rumoured to sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and up to 120Hz refresh rate.
Chipset:The handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and Adreno GPU.
RAM and Storage: Up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
OS: The handset is likely to boot Android 14-based ColorOS out of the box.
Cameras:The phone could feature a 50MP OIS primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
Battery:5,500mAh battery with 100W fast-wired charging support.
