This is going to change with the upcoming OnePlus 12as it has been confirmed to come with wireless charging capabilities. In addition to this information, OnePlus 12 camera specifications were also revealed by the brand.
· OnePlus 12 wireless charging
- OnePlus China president Li Jie shareda post on Weibo revealing key details about the OnePlus 12. Here, he confirmed that the OnePlus will come with wireless charging capabilities. Details weren’t revealed although rumours have suggested that the OnePlus will come with 50W wireless charging support.
· OnePlus 12 camera specifications confirmed
- In another post, Jie shared details about the OnePlus 12 camera setup.
This is the same camera setup though, that we’ve seen on the OnePlus Open and OPPO Find N3. But the OnePlus is expected to offer more in terms of quality. OnePlus will also feature OPPO’s self-developed “Super Light and Shadow Image Engine” technology. And the cameras will be Hasselblad powered as well. OnePlus 12 was also officially revealed yesterday through images of the phone’s design and colour options. This time, the alert slider has been moved to the left side of the phone. OnePlus 12 colour options include green, white, and black. There might be one with a wooden back as well. OnePlus 12 will come with a glass back, the same giant camera module, and a central punch-hole display. OnePlus 12 is scheduled to launch on December 5th. The smartphone is expected to launch globally and in India on January 24th.

- Alert slider:The alert slider will be on the left side to facilitate new and improved gaming antennas.
- Design: The phone follows the design language of its predecessor but with slight changes. It still has a massive circular camera island on the back. The edges by the back are a bit curved whilst the front is flat, with thin bezels and a punch-hole cutout.
- Colours:You can pick up the phone in green, black and white hues.
- Display: The phone is expected to get a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO BOE X1 OLED screen.
- Cameras:The front camera could be a 32MP shooter while the back could hold a 50MP+50MP+64MP triplet.
- Internals:The phone could be running on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, and a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
