v iQOO Neo 9 series is set to launch in China soon, and we’ve been coming across various rumours and leaks about the lineup. Recently, the schematics of the iQOO Neo 9 had surfaced online and this revealed the design. Now, more details about the phones, including chipset and fast charging details have been tipped. These details also reiterate some of the earlier leaked specs.

 

iQOO Neo 9 hardware details tipped

  • According to tipster DigitalChatStation, the iQOO Neo 9 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno GPU.
  • While the iQOO Neo 9 Pro could come with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC coupled with Mali-G720 Immortalis MP12 GPU. The chipset debuted on the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro phones.
  • Both phones are tipped to come with 120W fast charging support and 5000mAh battery cells.
  • The iQOO Neo series will be equipped with a 1.5K display and a 50MP Sony IMX920 primary camera, as per DCS.
  • The tipster briefly mentions there could be an iQOO Pad 2 tablet in the works and this might arrive with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.

DCS had previously mentioned that the iQOO Neo 9 series will feature a dual-tone design and the phones will boot OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 out of the box.

  • The iQOO Neo  series was earlier tipped to feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with probably a 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cutout. The other display specifications are unknown at the moment.
  • iQOO Neo  will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. While the Pro model could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.
  • The phone might pack up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, which might not be expandable further.
  • The iQOO Neo lineup is likely to run on Android 14 OS out of the box.
  • The phones could feature 120W fast charging support.

iQOO Neo 9 series is expected to launch very soon in China and probably expand to other markets too. The lineup will include the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. iQOO Neo 9 series design revealed

  • The tipster DigitalStation has revealed the schematics of the iQOO Neo 9 and this shows the design outline.
  • We can see a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, flat edges and narrow bezels.
  • The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge.
  • The back panel of the phone has a dual-tone design, where the left edge houses two large modules to house at least triple camera sensors and an LED flash.
  • The phone should be available in multiple colour options.

DigitalChatStation says the iQOO  series will have a 6.78-inch display with narrow bezels. The plastic frame will be replaced by a metallic chassis, as per the tipster. The texture is also claimed to have been improved further and the performance is also tipped to be the main focus.
