OnePlus Ace 3 is set to launch in China next week on January 4th and teaser images have already revealed the phone’s design and colour options. The OnePlus Ace 3 is a successor to the OnePus Ace 2 and is expected to be rebranded as the OnePlus 12R for global markets, including India. Just days ahead of the official announcement, the OnePlus Ace 3 display specifications have been confirmed by the brand officially.

- The OnePlus Ace 3 display will be manufactured by BOE and will have a 1.5K resolution panel, 4500nits peak brightness, and will adopt an 8T LTPO circuit design.
- The handset will feature an X1 (Oriental) screen and an in-house Display P1 chip, which is specifically optimised for lifespan protection for high brightness.
- This appears to be the same display as on the OnePlus 12 but with a slightly lower resolution.
- The teaser image shows the OnePlus Ace 3 will have a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and ultra-narrow bezels around the screen.
- The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge. The phone appears to have a metal frame going by the antenna lines.

- Display:The OnePlus Ace 3 is will flaunt a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with 4,500 nits peak brightness and up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
- Chipset:The handset could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
- Rear cameras:The phone is rumoured to feature a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro module. There could be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies.
- RAM and storage: Up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB storage can be expected.
- OS: Running the show could be Android 14-based ColorOS custom skin out of the box.

- On Weibo, OnePlus shared a sneak peek of the OnePlus Ace 3’s design in a teaser video.
- The video features a Sand Gold colour variant and focuses on the back of the device.
- A circular camera module is highlighted in the rear design.
- On the right side, there are a volume rocker and a power key.
- The left edge of the OnePlus Ace 3 / OnePlus 12R includes an alert slider.
- The top edge seems to house a microphone, an IR blaster, and a speaker hole.
- The teaser does not reveal the front design of the OnePlus Ace 3.
- Earlier reports mentioned that the OnePlus Ace 3 might feature a metallic mid-frame.
- Additionally, the OnePlus 12R was teased as well in Black and Blue colour options, courtesy of industry insider Ishan Agarwal. This is in addition to the Green colourway that was revealed a while back. It’s unclear if the OnePlus 12R will get the Gold colour option seen on the OnePlus Ace 3.
