Smartphone brand OnePlus launched the Ace 2V in China in March, featuring a 1.5K OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, up to 16GB RAM, and 80W fast charging. Now, leaks about the OnePlus Ace 3V are emerging, with details on the chipset and display, slated for a 2024 launch. Here’s more about the expected launch timeline and key specs of the OnePlus Ace 3V.

OnePlus Ace 3V key specifications tipped

• On Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station disclosed the chipset and display details of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3V.
• As per the tipster, OnePlus is developing a smartphone under the Ace brand, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset.

• The upcoming smartphone is also said to feature a flat display with a 1.5K resolution.
• Although the leaker didn’t specify the phone’s name, it is anticipated to be launched as the OnePlus Ace 3V.

OnePlus Ace 3V launch timeline, other details (expected)

With the recent trend of smartphones being released approximately a month ahead of their predecessors, it’s expected that the OnePlus Ace 3V could be unveiled in February or March next year.

Notably, the OnePlus Ace 2V was launched as the OnePlus Nord 3, in India, starting at Rs 33,999, and globally. Consequently, there’s a possibility that the Ace 3V might be introduced globally as the OnePlus Nord 4. However, the company hasn’t said anything about the smartphone yet.

• Display:We are hearing that OnePlus Ace 3 will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED screen with 4,500 nits of peak brightness and 2160Hz PWM dimming. This could be a BOE X1 oriental screen that’s present on the OnePlus 12. So, you could also get up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
• Cameras: The rear camera setup could consist of a 50MP main shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide snapper and a 2MP macro module. Although previously there were rumours of a 32MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom also in the mix but then this was quashedby tipsters DCS and Max Jambor.Anyway, the front camera could be a 16MP sensor.

• Processor: The phone could come powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC
• Memory: It could feature LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
• Software: OnePlus could launch the device with ColorOS based on Android 14 in China and outside China, the skin will be OxygenOS.
