OPPO A59 5G India price and specs leaked ahead of official launch

• OPPO A59 5G is tipped to launch in two variants in India. The base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost Rs 14,999, according to tipster Abhishek Yadav. OPPO A59 5G with 6GB RAM will reportedly cost Rs 16,999. The smartphone will come in two colour options of Starry Black and Silk Gold.

• Display:OPPO A59 5G will feature a 6.56-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a notch on top.
• Processor:The smartphone is tipped to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset.
• Cameras:According to the tipster, the OPPO A59 5G will feature a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor, and a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies, it will house an 8MP front camera.
• Battery, charging:The smartphone will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
• Software:On the software front, the OPPO A59 5G will run Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 out-of-the-box.

Sony recently announced this 1-inch sensor with 50MP resolution, and each pixel measures 1.6μm. Thanks to the underlying stacked CMOS technology, the sensor has larger physical diodes to capture more light. The low-light photos should particularly benefit from this.
