POCO X6 series is expected to launch soon with at least two phones — POCO X6 and POCO X6 Pro. The two phones have already been spotted on BIS and IMDA certification websites suggesting an imminent launch. There’s speculation too about the POCO X6 series launching as rebranded Redmi phones globally, and in India. 91mobiles has now spotted the POCO X6 on Geekbench, and the listing further adds to the said speculation.
POCO X6 Geekbench listing
- POCO X6 has been spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench with the model number 23122PCD1G. This model number is associated with the POCO X6.
- The listing reveals an octa-core processor with a maximum CPU clock speed of 2.40GHz, which is most likely the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The chipset is paired with Adreno TM 710 GPU.
- It’s also codenamed ‘Garnet’, which suggests the POCO X6 will be a rebrandedRedmi Note 13 Pro since this phone also carries the same codename.
- On Geekbench, the has scored 1,013 points in the single-core test, and 2,865 points in the multi-core test.
The speculation around Redmi Note 13 Pro launching as POCO X6 globally has been going around for some time. The POCO X6 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to launch as a rebranded Redmi K70e that just launched in China. - POCO X6 Pro 5G has been spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification site. Here, the smartphone carries the model number 2311DRK48G along with the listing, clearly mentioning that it’s the POCO X6 Pro 5G.
- According to a report by The Tech Outlook, the Indian variant of the was spotted on BIS with the model number 2311DRK48I, and the Chinese variant with the model number 2311DRK48C is said to launch as the Redmi K70e later today.
- Going by these sightings, the is expected to launch as the rebranded version of the Redmi K70e globally, and in India. This also changes the previous speculationthat the Redmi K70e will launch globally as a rebranded POCO F6 5G.
POCO X6 Pro 5G specs (expected)
As for the POCO specifications, we should know more after the Redmi K70e debuts. Redmi K70e is expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Dimensity 8300 Ultra, and launch with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The smartphone is also tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. Rumours also suggest a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor at the back. For selfies, it could house a 16MP front camera
Rest of the POCO X6 series is also expected to launch as rebranded Redmi phones. There’s a Neo 5G in the works that could launch as a rebranded Redmi Note 13R Pro 5G, and the POCO X6 5G, which would launch with the same specs as the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G.
