Redmi 13C 5G specifications and price (expected)

As per tipster Mukul Sharma, the Redmi 13C 5G will come with the following specs:

• Display:On the front, there could be a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass protection.
• Processor: Inside the phone will be housing MediaTek Dimensity 6100+
• Memory: It could hit the stores in two variants viz., 4+128GB and 8+256GB. It is rumoured to feature an 8GB Virtual RAM and expandable storage option with a dedicated slot.
• Battery: It could bear a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging speed.
• Cameras: The phone is said to bring a 50MP AI dual camera setup.
• Miscellaneous features: Among other things, you could get a Dual 5G Standby, a side-facing fingerprint reader, and a splash and dust-resistant design.
• Colours: You could buy it in Startrail Black, Startrail Silver, and Startrail Green colours.
• Price: The tipster expects the Redmi 13C 5Gto launch at around Rs 10,000.

Since Redmi 13C is available in Nigeria, we suppose Redmi will ship the same device here with the following specs:

• Display:The  could flaunt a 6.74-inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.
• Processor:Under the hood, you could get a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.
• Memory:This could be coupled with up to 8GB RAM plus 256GB storage. You could get a dedicated microSD card slot too for expanding the storage.

• The series will be launching in India on December 6th. The launch teasers are already up on Xiaomi’s website and Amazon India. The devices could be available for sale soon after the launch but offline retail availability should be confirmed during the official event.

Redmi 13C price in India (expected)

Redmi is the direct successor to the Redmi 12C which launched at Rs 8,999 in India but it also faced a price drop which brought it down to under Rs 7,000 range. Hence, we expect the Redmi 13C 4G variant to launch in the Rs 8,000 to Rs 9,000 bracket.

When it comes to the Redmi , the phone is expected to be the cheapest 5G model by Redmi for the Indian market yet and will be positioned below the Redmi 12 5G. Since the Redmi 12 5G starts at Rs. 11,999, the  5G could launch under Rs 10,000 making it one of the cheapest 5G phones available in India.
