AI video feature for Galaxy S24

  • Samsung Galaxy S24 UltraAccording to tipsterBennett Buhner, the Galaxy S24 will come with an AI feature that will let you erase subjects from videos. This would be some next-level editing that you’ll be able to do on a smartphone without any technical skills.
  • The Galaxy S24 will also be equipped with AI-powered processing that will helpimprove  low light performance, reduce graininess from videos, and improve stability and exposure as well.
  • There are more AI features planned for the Galaxy S24 that will arrive with One UI 6.1. Users will be able to take an existing photo and recreate more of itusing AI.
  • Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra An on-device AI chatbotis also coming to the Galaxy S24. This chatbot will be able to answer simple questions, equations, and more.

  • Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could default to a 24MP photo instead of a 12MP click.
  • Samsung could stow in AI features like Photo Remaster.
  • There could be an ND Filter simulation as well on this phone.

The other day we heard Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could have more realistic camera processing than the S23 Ultra. Now, it’s being tipped that the phone could bring big camera upgrades in the form of a Photo Remaster feature with AI, an ND Filter option, and a 24MP default output. The company seems to be moving past the 12MP output, which has been the default resolution for its flagships for years now. Here’s what we think it’s cooking.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra camera upgrades (rumoured)

  • 24MP mode:As per tipster Ahmed Qwaider on X, the forthcoming Samsung flagship phone could produce 24MP photos by default. If true, that would be a leap from the 12MP clicks, not just in the number of pixels, but also in terms of quality. More specifically, the 24MP photos could be more detailed than the 12MP results. Meanwhile, the size difference won’t be much.
  • Samsung seems to be following Apple which introduced 24MP default photos on the iPhone 15 series. However, Apple is pixel-binning 48MP captures to 24MP output, while Samsung could be binning more pixels. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumoured to ship with a 200MP sensor. The Galaxy S23 Ultra also had a 200MP camera and it offered both full-fat 200MP clicks and a 50MP mode as an in-between choice. Let’s see what Samsung does with the successor.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra camera features (expected)

  • Photo Remaster: Samsung could be borrowing this feature from the Galaxy Book 4 laptops. If it’s similar in functionality, you could expect one-tap AI-based enhancements to photos. As per the tipster, when you click photos on the S24 Ultra, you’ll be presented with three options: Portrait, Remaster, and Delete. The former could be to add a faux bokeh effect and the middle one could be for the one-tap enhancement.
  • ND Filter:Camera geeks, don’t go expecting the real Natural Density Filter from DSLRs here. Rather, this could be a software trickery to control the exposure of the photos. This was already part of S23 Ultra’s feature set but was hidden in the “Expert RAW Labs” section.

The details are scanty but since the Galaxy S24 series is expected to launch next month, which is right around the corner, we should get more concrete details before long. Key Sp
