Samsung is about to launch the Galaxy S24 series on January 17th at 11:30 PM IST as per reports. The leaks on the devices don’t seem like stopping anytime soon as now even the listing of the Galaxy S24+ (with model number SM-S926U) was accidentally live on Walmart, before being taken down. However, we can got to see the upcoming phone’s design, key specs and features including the much talked-about AI capabilities. Meanwhile, in another leak, we have learnt the pre-order benefits of the entire Galaxy S24 lineup.

Samsung Galaxy S24+ specifications and features leak on Walmart

• Display: As per the Walmartlisting, the Samsung Galaxy S24+ screen could stretch 6.7 inches. This is a bigger panel compared to what’s available on Galaxy S23+. Moreover, the screen also features an Eye Comfort Shield (which enables a blue light filter and lowers brightness automatically at night time) and 3120×1440 resolution.
• Dimensions and weight:The dimensions of the device are a tad longer, viz. 6.24 inches (as opposed to 6.21 inches on S23+). The weight is also 6.95 oz around 200 grams (while the S23+ is only 196g in heft).
• Cameras: You could get a 50MP main camera and a 12MP front camera. You could get full 50MP mode and a Nightography Zoom option.
• Variant: The leaked model carries 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is in Onyx Black colour.

Samsung Galaxy S24+ AI features (leaked)

• Generative Edit: The photo editor within the Samsung Gallery app could let you edit and remove objects on an image. You could also get a filling feature which could be like Content Aware Fill on Photoshop in filling similar image content from the surrounding portions of the image.

• Live Translate: You could get a built-in translator that could translate foreign languages in real time.

In a recent leak, we also saw the Galaxy S24 series could be bringing Galaxy AI which is believed to include ChatGPT-like generative text capability. It could be powered by Samsung’s Gauss large language model.

Galaxy S24+ will be the mid-tier model in the flagship series. Leaks suggest it will feature a flat display, and a design similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S23+. The Galaxy S24+ will be powered with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and the Exynos 2400 depending on the market. Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to debut on January 17th. Samsung is also rumoured to start pre-orders on the same day as the launch. Those who pre-order the phones will start receiving the phones between January 26th and 30th. As for the open sale of the Galaxy S24 series, it will reportedly begin on January 30th.

This would be much earlier than the usual February launch timeline for Samsung’s flagship lineup. The Galaxy S24 series is expected to arrive in India soon after the global debut.
