The Vivo X100 series is set to launch in China on November 13th. The lineup will include three models: the Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro, and Vivo X100 Pro+. The company recently teased the Vivo X100 Pro with a render that shows a ripple glass finish. Now, ahead of the launch, key details of the vanilla X100’s camera have been tipped.

Vivo X100 camera details

  • According to the tipsterDigital Chat Station, the Vivo X100 will come with triple camera sensors on the back.
  • The primary sensor will be a Sony IMX920 sensor with f/1.57 aperture.
  • This will be paired with a Samsung JN1 ultrawide sensor and an OmniVision OV64B periscope tele-macro lens with an f/2.57 aperture and a 3x optical zoom.
  • DCS says the setup will cover a wide range of focal lengths from 15mm to 70mm.
  • The Vivo X100 is rumoured to feature a Vario-Tessar lens.
  • The tipster says the Sony IMX920 is an internal reference model name and Sony is currently emphasising its Lytia brand name.
  • This means the final marketing name of the IMX920 may be in the “LYT8xx series”.

Vivo X100 series specifications (rumoured)

  • Chipset:The Vivo X100 Pro+ will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.
  • OS:The phones are likely to boot Android 14-based Funtouch OS custom skin out of the box.
  • Camera:The Vivo X100 Pro+ might come with a 50MP IMX989 primary camera with OIS support and variable aperture, a 50MP IMX598 ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50MP IMX758 telephoto camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with up to 10x optical zoom.
  • Display:The Vivo X100 series might come with an AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, curved panels, and a punch-hole cutout.
  • Battery:The Vivo X100 series might come with up to 120W fast charging. The X100 Pro might come with a 5,400mAh battery. All models in the series might come with 50W wireless charging support.
