HyperOS now rolling out to Xiaomi 13 Pro users in India

Xiaomi recently confirmed the arrival of the new HyperOS for Xiaomi 13 Pro users in India in January. True to their word, users have begun receiving the HyperOS 1.0 update, which comes paired with an Android security patch for December 2023. Xiaomi had recently confirmed the rollout of the new HyperOS update for 13 Pro users, and just days after the announcement, users have started receiving the OS update. Here’s the changelog that comes with the new HyperOS.

As evident from the changelog, the update introduces some visual changes, an enhanced memory management system, and various UI optimisations. Xiaomi has assured that all Xiaomi 13 Pro users will receive the update by the end of January 2024, and Xiaomi Pad 6 users can expect their update within the same month. POCO F5 is also confirmed to receive the  update, while the POCO X6 Pro will come with HyperOS pre-installed.

Xiaomi HyperOS started rolling out globally last month for select smartphones and now the OS has officially begun to rollout in India as well. The Xiaomi is a new operating system for Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones that will soon succeed MIUI. The new OS comes with under the hood improvements for apps, AI features, and minor UI tweaks.

Xiaomi HyperOS India rollout

Xiaomi on X announced the rolloutin India through a dedicated page. It’s yet to confirm the launch date but the rollout is scheduled to begin this month. Xiaomi also announced the first devices that are in line to get the  update.

  • In India, Xiaomi 13 Proand Xiaomi Pad 6 will be the first batch of devices to get the S update. More devices will be added to the roadmap later.
  • The global rollout included eight devices — Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13T Pro, Xiaomi 13T, Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12S, and Xiaomi Pad 6.
  • POCO F5 is also confirmedto receive the update.

Xiaomi announced HyperOS in October last year as the new operating system for its devices.
