OnePlus 12R is scheduled to launch in India and globally on January 23rd. The handset is expected to be a rebrand of the OnePlus Ace 3, which debuted in China recently. The phone has been making multiple appearances online and the price details are also tipped. Now, days ahead of the announcement, the OnePlus 12R global variant was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.

• The OnePlus 12R Geekbench listing, as spotted by MySmartPrice, shows the model number CPH2611.
• The smartphone has managed to score 1554 in the single-core round and 4484 points in the multi-core test, respectively.
• The listing shows the handset will run on Android 14 OS and pack 16GB RAM, but there could be other options at launch.
• The chipset mentions ‘Kalama’, which could be associated with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The phone will have a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz.

OnePlus 12R specifications (expected)

• Display: The OnePlus 12R sports a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 2780×1264 pixels, up to 4500 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R are debuting globally, and in India on January 23rd. OnePlus 12 has already debuted, while the OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to debut as the OnePlus 12R in global markets. The brand has been teasing its upcoming launch revealing key details about both the phones. Now ahead of the global debut, live images of the OnePlus 12R have appeared online.

OnePlus 12R spotted on FCC website

• OnePlus 12R has been spotted on the US FCC certification website with the model number CPH2611.
• The FCC listing doesn’t reveal much about the phone’s specs but it contains live images revealing its design.
• According to the live images, the OnePlus 12R will feature a design quite similar to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11R. The large camera module is visible at the back sitting against a square panel. It’s a triple camera setup alongside an LED flash.
• OnePlus 12R is also seen with a curved display and a centrally aligned punch-hole camera.
• The images also reveal the volume keys and power button on the right, and alert slider on the left.
• If we compare it to the OnePlus Ace 3, the design is similar, at least for the black colour variant. OnePlus Ace 3 comes in two more colour options of Blue and Gold.

OnePlus has so far confirmed the 12R will pack a 5,500mAh battery, and feature a 4th-gen LTPO display panel. As for the rest of the specs, we can make an assumption based on the OnePlus Ace 3 specs.

OnePlus Ace 3 is priced at 2,599 yuan (Rs 30,200 approx) for the base model in China. Pricing for global markets and India will be different, and we’ll find out once the device lands here. But it’s very likely that we are seeing the OnePlus Ace 3 launch as the OnePlus 12R in India
