OnePlus Ace 3 is confirmed to launch on January 4th in China and the teaser images have confirmed most of the features, including display, bezel size, and more. The brand will also introduce the OnePlus Buds 3 on the same stage. Now, tipster DigitalChatStation has revealed the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro’s key specifications.
The company hasn’t mentioned anything about the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro being in the works so there are chances it might debut at a later stage.
OnePlus Ace 3 Pro specifications (tipped)
- The tipster reveals the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
- This makes it the second phone from the brand to feature the flagship chipset from Qualcomm
- The Qualcomm chipset will be paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
- The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will ship a curved OLED display from BOE.
- Reports have it that the phone would come with the same 1.5K resolution panel as the standard OnePlus Ace 3.
- DCS further claims the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will have a metal middle frame and a glass back panel.
- The handset will boot Android 14-based ColorOS 14.
The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is rumoured to debut earlier than the time its predecessor launched. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro launched in August 2023 in China. So this means the successor might debut in the first half of 2024. When it launches, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will be limited to China and might not expand globally.
OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R (which is a rebrand of the OnePlus Ace 3) will launch in India on January 23rd. There is already a dedicated microsite on Amazon, which confirms the online availability of the phones. OnePlus 12 is the brand’s first phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
- The teaser image suggests the OnePlus Ace 3 will sport extremely thin bezels.
- The side bezels measure 1.36mm and a relatively thicker chin at 1.94mm.
- The OnePlus Ace 3 looks to have flat edges and the extremely narrow bezels mean the phone should offer an immersive content viewing experience.
- The OnePlus Ace 3 will offer up to 120Hz refresh rate and will have Dolby Vision support.
- The phone is already confirmed to get three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.
- The flagship would come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, Wi-Fi 7, IR blaster and NFC connectivity.

- Display:The OnePlus Ace 3 will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with 4,500 nits peak brightness, 8T LTPO, an in-house Display P1 chip, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, and up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
- Chipset:The handset will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics.
- RAM and storage: The chipset is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB storage.
- Rear cameras:The phone is rumoured to feature a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro module.
- Front camera: There could be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies.
- OS: Android 14-based ColorOS custom skin out of the box.
- Battery:There could be a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast-wired charging support.
- Connectivity: 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
- Colours: Black, Blue, and Gold colours. The phone will come with a metallic middle frame and feature a frosted glass panel.

- The OnePlus Ace 3 display will be manufactured by BOE and will have a 1.5K resolution panel, 4500nits peak brightness, and will adopt an 8T LTPO circuit design.
- The handset will feature an X1 (Oriental) screen and an in-house Display P1 chip, which is specifically optimised for lifespan protection for high brightness.
- This appears to be the same display as on the OnePlus 12 but with a slightly lower resolution.
- The teaser image shows the OnePlus Ace 3 will have a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and ultra-narrow bezels around the screen.
- The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge. The phone appears to have a metal frame going by the antenna lines.
