Realme 12+ 5G launch imminent, spotted on NBTC and FCC certifications

The Realme 12 Pro series is set to launch in India this month and will be sold exclusively via Flipkart online. The company has been teasing the 120x Super Zoom and the premium design, with a leather finish and design inspired by the luxury watch brand, Rolex. While we wait for the announcement, a new variant, dubbed the Realme 12+ has been spotted on the FCC listing and NBTC certification.

Realme 12+ 5G bags multiple certifications


  • The NBTC certification, as spotted by MySmartPrice, confirms the marketing name of the phone and also the model number RMX3867.
  • Besides confirming the marketing name, model number and 5G support, the NBTC certification doesn’t reveal any details about the phone.
  • The Realme 12+ has also been spotted on the FCC certification.
  • The listing shows the device will debut with Android 14-based Realme UI 5 out of the box.
  • The certification confirms the phone would come with NFC, 5G network support, and dual SIM slots.
  • The Realme 12+ will come with a 5,000mAh battery and will ship with an adapter bearing the model number VCB7CAAH.
  • The listing reveals that the adapter will operate at a maximum of DC4.5V. This confirms the phone supports 67W fast charging.

The Camera FV 5 certification suggests the Realme 12 + will sport a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.0 aperture. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front for selfies. We should know more details going forward.

Realme 12 Pro series is confirmed to debut in India this month. The brand has started teasing the upcoming smartphone series revealing small details through a dedicated microsite. The launch date is yet to be revealed but we’re expecting it to be announced anytime soon. Now ahead of the launch, the Realme 12 Pro series has received China’s 3C certification.

  • Realme has also been keeping details under wraps by only revealing the phone’s back design, and confirming a periscope camera. The Realme 12 Pro is seen in a blue colour with a vegan leather finish and golden outlines. The camera module is a circular one with what looks like 120x zoom engraved on it.
  • Realme 12 Pro series is also confirmed to feature a periscope telephoto lens that is compared with a 200MP sensor, and how it doesn’t need to rely on such a high megapixel count. As for the rest of its specs, a recent TENAA listing gives us an idea on what to expect.

  • RAM and storage:Both phones are expected to launch in four variants of 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB.
  • Cameras: has been listed with a 50MP primary camera, a 32MP secondary lens, and an 8MP sensor. For selfies, it will house a 16MP front camera. As for the , it will be a 64MP primary camera, a 50MP secondary lens, an 8MP camera, and a 32MP front camera.
  • Battery:Both phones are listed with the same 4,880mAh battery.
